26 Flavours – Collaboration
26 Flavours of Cornwall was a collaborative project of writing and design. 26 writers were paired at random with 26 designers. Each pair given a ‘Cornish flavour’ – for which they were challenged to produce a piece of interpretation that combined both words and design.
Paired with the writer Tom Scott, Kea plums became our flavour. These are only found in a single valley in Cornwall, located just off the Fal Estuary. A series of haiku poems were created to describe the slow but energetic journey from blossoming to jam making.
Final works were exhibited at Trebah Gardens.
